Initial setup of Macro Deck 2

Step 1

Follow the wizard to configure Macro Deck 2 to your preferences.

Step 2

Select your primary network adapter. If you are not sure what to choose, proceed with step 2.1. Otherwise click on "Next" and continue with step 3.

Open a command promt (cmd) and type in "ipconfig". This will list you all your installed network adapters. Look for a network adapter which is named "Ethernet" or "Wi-Fi". Typically the "IPv4-Address" starts with something like "192.168.xxx.xxx" and the subnet mask "255.255.255.0". The standard gateway should be the ip address of your router. Compare the IPv4-Address to the IP address in Macro Deck. Once you sure that the selected network adapter is correct, klick on "Next" and continue with step 3.

Step 3

You can set the rows and coumns of your grid. You can also change this later. Click on "Next" and continue with step 4.

Step 4

On this page you can select all the plugins you need. You can install/uninstall plugins later in the Macro Deck package manager. Once you selected all plugins you need, klick on "Next" and continue with step 5.

Step 5

You can select if Macro Deck should automatically check for updates and if Macro Deck should start automatically with the operating system. Once you done, click on "Finish".

Step 6

Macro Deck will now download and install your selected plugins. Once done, click on "Finish".

Step 7

Windows Defender Firewall may blockes Macro Deck. Check the two checkboxes and click on "Allow access".

Step 8

Congratulations, Macro Deck is now fully installed and configured!
